Cunningham Finances
With the movement of our Sunday Services online in mid-March, Cunningham UMC faced new challenges. As usual, the Cunningham family has met these challenges with vigor. Collections transitioned to a different path with online donations, the use of Bill Pay at our banks and direct mailing of your contributions to the Church. As a result, our finances remain in good shape with our collections for the General Operating Fund through March slightly above budget while our expenditures were below budget. The Virginia Conference, Charlottesville District and your Church Council have examined planned 2020 expenses and we have been able to identify over 10% reductions in our budget going forward. Thanks for your faithfulness and your continued financial support for Cunningham’s ministries as we continue our mission here in Fluvanna. GATHERING PLACE UPDATE
We are pleased to report that, during this period, thanks to your contributions, our Gathering Place mortgage principal balance has been reduced to below $210,000 from the original mortgage amount of $230,00 last August. Again, thank you for your continued faithfulness and support.
